We are proud to highlight Nievesh Nair, a Standard 6 pupil from SK St. Michael, Ipoh, who exemplifies holistic excellence in education. His commitment to academics, leadership, sports, and the arts has garnered him recognition at various levels. 

At the international level, Nievesh achieved notable success at the Teen Eagle Global Finals 2025 held in New Jersey, United States, where he won two Gold Medals in Productive Skills and Receptive Skills. His international accolades also include a Silver Medal in the Kancil Science Competition, an Honorable Mention in the Kangaroo Math Competition, and a Bronze Medal in the STEM category at the 11th International Conference on Global Education (ICGE XI). 

With a Silver Medal in the ABRSM Piano Competition and a Bronze in the WST Music Competition 2025, his dedication to music shines brightly. Not only that, but he also showcased his athletic prowess in the CIMB Rising Star National Junior Circuit squash leagues across Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, and Alor Setar. Additionally, his intellectual curiosity was evident in his participation in the National Doctors’ Day Essay Writing Competition 2025. 

Beyond competitions, Nievesh has consistently displayed strong leadership qualities. He currently holds the highest student leadership position in his school as Head Prefect. In addition, he serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Pengakap unit, Chairperson of Athletics, and an active member of the Digital Computer Movers Club. These roles reflect his ability to lead with integrity, collaborate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to school life.

Academically, Nievesh maintains an excellent record, achieving TP6 across all subjects and securing the highest Mathematics score among Year 6 students in his school. His exceptional all-round performance was recognised during the school’s awards ceremony, where he received the prestigious SKSMI Adiwira Tokoh Murid Award 2025. He further distinguished himself by winning Johan for the Kinta Utara District Co-Curricular Excellence Award and Naib Johan at the Perak State-Level Co-Curricular Excellence Awards.

In addition to his academic and co-curricular achievements, Nievesh has demonstrated intellectual curiosity and early scholarly interest by submitting an article for journal publication, for which he is currently awaiting feedback.

With his balanced excellence in academics, sports, the arts, leadership, and character development, Nievesh Nair exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding Malaysian student.
